Here are a few links for those of you interested in learning more about Mordecai M. Kaplan ( I referred to his theology in the video as Kaplanian) or his view of Judaism as an Evolving Religious Civilization.
Lastly anyone who’s interested in purchasing a copy of “Olive Trees & Honey” by Gil Marks can do so by clicking here.

I like the video post. And I like the idea of your little book reviews because the best promotion of something is having someone you know share it.
Thanks for sharing and thanks for buying us the book

TG,
should have is David Biale’s “The Cultures of the Jews: A New History.” It’s a fantastic read about historical Jewish cultures from Western Europe to India, and it is a great addition to anyone’s Jewish library. Anyway, great post, and nice work with the video!
Great post on the cook book, I think the video blog thing worked out nicely. That book looks great, I’ll have to check it out. Another book every Kaplanian

it’s weird to see you as a real live person. i couldn’t even watch it for more that 10 seconds because it freaked me out. can’t explain it.
p.s. my anti-spam word is “santa.”

Thanks for the review. I appreciate the positive feedback. One thing though, I actually received my ordination (semicha) from Yeshiva University.

The world is a very small place! For a cookbook proposal, I’m researching cookbooks that address food history and human migration. And here you are reviewing the very book I’m using as an example in the proposal.
