I am an Old- Fashioned Spiritual Seeker
Judaism, Just 4 Fun, J-Bloggers, Jewish Spirituality April 25th, 2007Tamara just blogged about this interesting quiz over on Beliefnet so I decided to head over and take it myself.
Can’t say that I’m surprised with my results because they certainly fit with the way I see myself and actually tie in quite nicely with a few of the comments I made to Jewish Atheist in my last post.

Very interesting. As you said, we are much more alike than different. And where I scored, 72, makes total sense based on our discussions and such of religion and observance.
I hate to admit it but whoever wrote the beliefnet stuff seems to be on the ball with accuracy.

Yes we are indeed much more alike than we are different. Now if I just need to work on you a little bit more so your score drops by about five points and everything will be just perfect.

Well, I scored 60, just barely in the Old-fashioned Seeker category–for whatever that might be worth.
I found this one to be harder to make sense of than the others I have taken from Beliefnet. I mean, in some answers, two or more unrelated things were lumped together (like seeking spiritual fulfillment through books and nature–huh?). And in others, two responses would be equally valid, I thought. Still others were things I just have not thought about.
Well, like you, I am also a Tzimmes Jew (in another quiz), so it would make sense to be “old fashioned,” too, I suppose.
