Video - God is Green
Eco-Kashrut, On G-D, Online Media, Politics of Religion April 1st, 2007Posting continues to be light because I’m not up to 100% yet and as a result I’m still sleeping much more than normal and am generally still out of it. Also all of the posts that I had been working on are three or four weeks out of date now, so there’s not much point in finishing them up. I’m not going to lie I’m little bit bummed out about that last fact so maybe I’ll try to figure out a way to incorporate that content into future posts somehow.
Anyhow I came across this very interesting documentary entitled “G-D is Green” which apparently aired recently on one of the BBC channels. It basically focuses on religion and its role in eco-activism and the whole global warming debate.
Overall very interesting even though there’s no real mention of Judaism or Jewish initiatives around eco-Kashrut but there was some stuff around stewardship and Islam which I found rather interesting.
So without further delay here’s the video. I hope that you enjoy and please as always feel free to share any comments or thoughts.

God is green. Amein to that.
I enjoyed the video, though the stream kept cutting out on me at about the point where he was going to the confessional. Maybe there is some message in that!
(This time my security word was “grand.” I like it. God is green, God is grand!)
